New study published this week in the British Journal of Sports Medicine shows that sitting for an extended period can be a contributor to heart diseases, diabetes, and obesity.

Yes, we know that in the modern world, you have to be at your desk, YBM has long been advocating using devices like the hula chair and de-stablizing cushions to make your muscles engaged during sitting.  We also ask you to sit tilted with the entire back supported during driving to protect the spine and disc. Also, it's good to exercise for the low back every hour during sitting.  Go back to some of our original articles on exercises.

Thanks for the information.

Thanks for the information. This gave me an idea of joining any aerobics program. Sitting all day is part of my office work, it relaxes me. I was not thinking that I could get any body problems from it. And I also notice lately that I am becoming bigger in size. My belly is getting to bulge everytime I get full. Thats why I decided to pick a sandwich from Jack in the Box three times a day, no more rice and other high in carbo food.

Some body fat testing

Some body fat testing results has found negative effect when an individual lacks exercise.
