I think it is a must for YBMers to read this article, and reflect on it. It is not that simple a "healthy" food is healthy. It depends. For examples, - tuna fish is healthy, but not if you eat canned tuna such as in tuna salad or sandwich, or if you eat toegther with bread and high caloric dressings, or the ones contain heavy metals. - fruit is healthy, but not if you drink processed fruit juice. - tofu is healthy, but not if you eat too much (the phyto estrogen becomes over dosed) - vegetable is healthy, but not if you cooked it well done - turning into simple sugar - some grains are very nutritious, but most of the time the standard cooking/processing makes them starchy like simple sugar. - and there are endless examples and tips.... Thus, it is critically important to stick to the guidelines of YBM Diet. Everything has a valid reason. If in question, just ask in the forum, or write emails. »
